We are currently seeking a highly experienced Structural Manager for Civil and Building Work to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and overseeing construction projects with a focus on civil and building works. As a Structure Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of civil and building work projects including planning budgeting scheduling and resource allocation.
Manage and coordinate with project teams including engineers architects contractors and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Review and approve project plans designs and specifications.
Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process.
Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management.
Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
Maintain strong relationships with clients stakeholders and subcontractors.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing civil and building work projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and equipment.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management software.
Prior experience working in the UAE is preferred.
