Aspion has been retained to support an exciting client in their search for a Business Development Manager to join their fast-growing team in Abu Dhabi. Specialising in custom-designed children's spaces, interior fit-outs, and furniture design, our client provides innovative solutions to schools, colleges, and large-scale construction projects across the UAE and Middle East. From bespoke sensory play areas to classroom furniture and large-scale interior projects, they transform environments with creativity and precision.

About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing the business by managing inquiries, meeting clients, and delivering tailored design solutions. Your mission will be to drive deals from initial conversation to project handover, leveraging your expertise to handle objections, progress deals, and close contracts with confidence. You’ll start with smaller projects, building your expertise to handle larger, high-value deals like furniture tenders, fit-outs, and projects for schools, universities, hotels, and student accommodations.

Key Responsibilities

Close Deals: Bring a master closer mentality to handle objections, progress deals, and secure contracts.
Manage Inquiries: Work with a steady flow of warm leads and enquiries.
Client Engagement: Understand client needs and offer creative, tailored design solutions.
Project Collaboration: Transition projects smoothly to the production team, ensuring accuracy in POs and invoicing.
Tendering Expertise: Lead tender processes for large-scale projects, delivering winning proposals.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Market Prospecting: Explore new opportunities, reconnect with dormant clients, and expand the client base.
Who You Are

Any experience in closing sales within furniture sales, interior fit-outs, or related industries would be advantageous.
Any Formal training in sales (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, Grant Cardone, Dale Carnegie, or similar) would be advantageous.
Experience selling to schools, universities, or large-scale projects like hotels and accommodations would be preferred.
Confident managing multiple high-value deals in a fast-paced environment.
Consultative in your sales approach, with exceptional communication and persuasion skills.
Energetic, adaptable, and hungry for success—not tied to a 9-to-5 mindset.
