Background:
What is a pair of compasses?
The following parts of a circle are important: the centre, the radius and the diameter.
If you know the length or the radius or diameter of a circle, it is easy to draw a circle
with a set of compasses.
a. A circle with a diameter of 100 mm
b. A circle with a radius of 30 mm
Remember:
A set of compasses is not a toy and it could be dangerous if you don’t handle it with care.
Try to re-draw the sketch in Assignment 11 on a clean page.
NB: All drawings must be done in pencil.
